Making of a Museum

The Weltmuseum Wien was completely redesigned from 2014 to 2017. An institution with a powerful international presence was created – a metamorphosis which we intended to capture on film. The documentary will premiere in 2018. You can watch some spin-offs here.

Mag. Sophie Wagner, MA
Sophie Wagner is a self-employed film producer and organiser of ETHNOCINECA - International Documentary Film Festival Vienna. She works in school classes on the topic of media literacy and holds film workshops with a focus on ethnographic film. In 2012/13, after finishing her studies of Social and Cultural Anthropology in Vienna, she continued with a second MA in Visual Anthropology at the University of Manchester (GB).

Mag. Martin Lintner
Martin Lintner is a self-employed film producer, graphic and web designer. He studied Social and Cultural Anthropology at the University of Vienna with emphasis on Visual Anthropology and anthropological filmmaking in theory and practice. Since 2010 he is organiser of ETHNOCINECA - International Documentary Film Festival Vienna and since 2012 he is chair and curator of the film festival.
