Mask tseringma
Standort
The mask is worn during Dashera dances. Among the Newar of the Kathmandu Valley, dances are part of the esoteric sphere alongside ritual chants. Certain dances are performed by priests together with their wives. They form the basis of the cult of tantric deities.
