Short trousers made of brown sealskin, artfully decorated with multicoloured leather strips and pink bands, characterize the appearance of traditional Inuk women’s clothing in Greenland. They are worn with hip-high boots, which are often decorated with white lace on a red background. The tops are made of coloured wool fabric and black fur, with magnificent, wide standing collars and sleeve cuffs made of colorful glass beads.
