San Simón

San Simón smokes a cigarette, and holds a money bag with dollar signs and a staff with a white bag in his hands. San Simón or Maximón is a syncretic figure originating in the Mayan culture of Guatemala and later influenced by Christianity. He is a medium, able to walk in or communicate with the spirit world, and acts as spiritist and healer.
