Antilopenhorn

The antelope horn is worn by Bon mages as a back ornament. It is also part of the ritual objects of the Tamang Bön pos in Gosainkund and Sailung, Nepal. It is also used as a protective means against the earth spirits (Tib. sa bdag) during the ritual of expelling demons (Tib. sri). The horn is used to dig some earth out from under a stone. In any ceremony that involves digging up earth, the first prick must be made with an antelope horn.
