In the magnificent Hall of Columns you can visit the cook café & bistro as well as the WMW Shop. It is open to the public and provides an unforgettable setting for special events and gala dinners.

Established in the course of the reopening in 2017, the new WMW Forum is an ideal venue for events, including concerts, performances, lectures, workshops or seminars.
The publicly accessible library has been part of what is today the Weltmuseum Wien since its foundation in 1928. Although it is primarily intended for scientific research, the library is open to everybody looking for information on the field of ethnology, i.e. social and cultural anthropology. All interested persons may take full advantage of the services of the lending library with its reading room free of charge.
The Museum Shop offers a rich selection of constantly updated products related to the collections and exhibitions of the Weltmuseum Wien, the Imperial Armoury and the Collection of Ancient Musical Instruments. You will also find an excellent selection of the finest Viennese souvenirs and selected products from traditional Viennese companies and manufacturers under the Imperial Vienna brand. We invite you to look for high-quality souvenirs of Vienna, to take a little piece home with you and to indulge in imperial shopping to your heart's content!
In the heart of the permanent collection you can find the Kaleidoscope – the atelier of our Department of Learning. Providing a highly modern equipment, it is used for workshops and lectures for both adults and children. It also includes a collection of hands-on objects.
