In autumn, when the full moon shines particularly brightly, a very special festival takes place in Korea: Chuseok. Families come together, give thanks to their ancestors for the harvest, and prepare a festive meal, which is traditionally also dedicated to their ancestors.

To mark this occasion, the Weltmuseum is hosting a diverse programme for young and old alike: from painting and children’s workshops to Korean percussion and the preparation of traditional sweets, guided tours, and a joint finale with Korean tea – experience Korean festive culture with all your senses.
