Many interests play(ed) a role in creating a certain image of Africa in the so-called West. This already served the colonial exploitation and is also recognizable in the current global struggle for the resources of the African continent. Museums have also played a significant role in shaping this image to this day. What do you know about Africa and where does this knowledge come from? Together we try to approach a contemporary, more diverse image of Africa.
