Welcome to the breakfast worlds at the Weltmuseum Wien! Immerse yourself in other cultures while you enjoy your breakfast. During this culinary excursion, guests share insights into their unique worlds through objects they have brought with them or brought from home.

Under the motto of ‘Old meets young’, people of all ages are welcome to share their personal perspectives and memories.

Breakfast world with a Korean theme.

This breakfast world is dedicated to Chuseok – the Korean harvest festival, which falls on the first full moon in October this year.

Ms Han Yunkyung will share memories of Chuseok celebrations from her childhood in Seoul and explain how Korean traditions can be adapted in Vienna. She will serve classic Chuseok delicacies and even offer the opportunity to get involved with DIY instructions for making the legendary songpyeon!

Please feel free to arrive a little earlier: starting at 10:45 a.m., you can enjoy a short concert by Park Jiha on Korean instruments.

We invite you to take part in a guided tour of the Korean collection after breakfast.

An event organized by the Weltmuseum Wien Friends in cooperation with Weltmuseum Wien Museum Education. The Weltmuseum Wien Friends association offers a variety of advanced events to all those interested in the contents of the Weltmuseum Wien, such as object discussions, special guided tours, and excursions as well as film and photo presentations.
