New year, new happiness! Not everyone in the world celebrates New Year at the same time. The Chinese New Year begins between the end of January and mid-February. The new year 2026 begins on 17 February and ushers in the Year of the Horse. It is also a spring festival. Find out what the Nian monster has to do with fireworks and what cleaning has to do with luck!

This workshop in German language takes place as part of the WIENXTRA-Kinderaktiv programme.
