Alexander Rieger is Head of the Division for Intercultural and Interreligious Dialogue and Head of the Task Force Dialogue of Cultures (and Religions) at the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA). His responsibilities include religion and foreign policy, the promotion of freedom of religion and belief (in close cooperation with the Human Rights Department) as well as bilateral intercultural and interreligious dialogues.

Prof Elif Medeni, MEd is a religious education teacher and subject didactician with many years of experience in teacher training and curriculum development. For six years, she headed the Institute for Islamic Religion at the Vienna/Krems University of Teacher Education, where she developed innovative concepts for Islamic religious education and interreligious educational formats.
