Who are the Women of the Collections?

Up until the 20th century, it was mostly men who conducted research and collected artefacts. In doing so, they determined which objects were included in ethnographic collections and which stories they told. But who were the women involved in collecting? What drove them to collect, and what kind of objects did they choose? On this themed tour, we examine the experiences, interests, and stories of the women in the display collection!
