Jump!Star Simmering

A cooperation of Brunnenpassage and Weltmuseum Wien

21 December 2020 to 6 July 2021
JUMP!STAR Simmering, a process-oriented artistic project organised by Brunnenpassage ArtSocialSpace and the Weltmuseum Wien was originally scheduled to take place in the Viennese district of Simmering but was ultimately held on a virtual format because of the social distancing measures due to the Covid-19 pandemic. 21 Days Listening Out Loud & Dreaming Wildly hosted by the JUMP!STAR team was an open, digital space at which people from Simmering and all over the world were able to connect and exchange experiences through discussions, dancing and singing. The events included collective braiding sessions of the Double-Infinity-Rope, which together with an extensive documentation can now be viewed at the Weltmuseum Wien as a record of daily life in 2020.
