This women‘s coat is made of semi-silk (warp: silk, weft: cotton), padded and lined. The lining is hand-printed blue print on cotton fabrics; a patchwork of 9 different fabrics, including parts of a printed wool shawl made of very fine woolen twill. The coat was acquired by the Austrian prisoner of war Fritz Willfort in Uzbekistan before 1920.
