Figur
When a successful warrior returned to his village with a head, it was presented as a trophy on the so-called head tree. As a "replacement", figures were made that played an important role in the rites of reintegration of the warrior into society. They were placed either in the community house or in the house of the village king. We were told that Fürer-Haimendorf acquired this figure because he had not received the head that actually served as a trophy.
