Lunar house
The twenty-eight lunar houses (Tib.: rGyu skar) came from India to Tibet and Mongolia through the introduction of the Indian astronomical-astrological concept. Six lunar houses are assigned to each main cardinal point and one to each of the intermediate cardinal points. Each constellation is assigned favorable and unfavorable aspects in astrological calculations of all possible activities.
