Posters that are stylistically based on the political propaganda posters of the mid-20th century are becoming increasingly popular today. The person of Ho Chi Minh is transformed into a figure of Vietnamese identity. This poster is dedicated to the sixtieth anniversary of Vietnam's proclamation of independence. The portrait of Ho Chi Minh as he proclaimed independence appears in front of a stylized striking surface of a Dong Son culture kettle gong.
