Blessing stones

The so-called "blessing stones" worshipped by several Naga tribes, also known as the "family of lucky stones", could either be found by priests of the old religion or by a lucky coincidence by laymen. If they prove to be benevolent when provided with appropriate offerings, they find their place in the rice granary, which they keep full. There they multiply and form families. A Naga acquaintance advised us to treat them with due respect, even in the museum, as they could otherwise cause harm.
