Spear

Spear - "Lembing".This weapon is only used for hunting wild boar, where the boar, which has been cornered by dogs, is attacked with this heavy weapon, or, as with a spear, it is thrown at the animal or, finally, as in Europe, to catch and stop the angry animal which is charging the hunter. The wooden shaft is short, strong and heavy, the iron head is nearly a meter long, wide and at its tip is double edged and slightly bent like a sabre. "Translation of: Czurda, F. A. J. (1883).
