After his return home, King Parikesit finds out that his kingdom is threatened. The demon king Niradakawaca has perpetuated the old feud between the families. The demon king has thus instructed the giant Srubisana to murder the king during his journey. Yet with the aid of Sukanda, his father-in-law, he manages to render the giant harmless.
